Starting May 1, 2020, select Pearson VUE-owned and operated checkpoints will be available for testing in the US and Canada, in areas where there are no restrictions on employment restrictions. However, Pearson VUE will continue to temporarily suspend exams if restrictions continue.

Pearson VUE has decided to extend the suspension of exams in Brazil and Mexico until July 15, in line with the latest recommendations from local governments, the World Health Organization and other organizations.

Pearson Open Professional Centers (PPCs) remaining in the rest of the world are currently in operation; However, in memory of Pearson VUE – across all global PPCs, they have begun to implement additional disposal measures based on recommendations from several global healthcare institutions.

For more information on how COVID-19 may affect your exam appointment for real-time updates, visit the Pearson VUE website. Information on this page includes:

Finally, VMware Certification announces that remote audits of your Pearson VUE exams are now available in multiple locations. Remote Monitoring allows the exam to be taken from ANY secure location (except currently in Japan, South Korea, and China) and is a permanent offer regardless of whether future testing centers are available.

Distance advertising is not available in China, Cuba, Iran, Japan, North Korea, Slovenia, South Korea, and Sudan due to national regulations. Applicants residing in these countries cannot register for the OnVUE exam.

All exams except the VCAP Deploy lab exams are now available for remote delivery; With a different underlying distribution infrastructure, this will take a little more work and will be available soon.
